Our family is interested in adopting one of your puppies. We lost our Great Dane just over a year ago when her body reacted badly to the anesthetic during surgery. We had “Chloe” for about 6 years. For a long time I wasn’t ready for another dog, but recently we have been looking. Our last Dane was a rescue situation and I wanted to rescue another dog this time, too. I am mostly interested in Danes or Mastiffs, and have been looking through many pictures online, and also checking out our local animal shelters.
I saw Dakota’s picture on Pet Finder and something about her and her story of the whole litter being dumped touched my heart. My kids (all teens) have fallen in love with the picture of the whole litter. We do not care that the specific breed is undetermined at this point. A pure breed is not necessary for us. We just love big dogs that need a loving home.
We understand, and prefer that (possible) Dane breeds are house dogs.
Please give me any information that you have concerning this litter, such as:
date they would be adoptable
cost involved
requirements on our part
the placement process
I am Melinda, a student at Ole Miss! For one of my classes we have to write a proposal on an organization that we think would take good use in a donation of 100 dollars. Everyone in the class has to write about a different organization and the most convincing paper wins, giving the organization that the student wrote the proposal for 100 dollars to donate to that organization. After reading your website and having a passion for dogs I have decided to write my proposal for Drifters’ Place. I was curious as to how 100 dollars would be used at Drifters’ Place or how it would make a difference. Thanks!!!
Best,
Dear Mrs. Mitchell,
My name is Sammy and I currently attend Ole Miss. In my writing class we are having a writing competition and the winner will get $100 to give to the organization of their choice in our community! I am interested in your organization. I would if you could tell me more about it and what you could use the most to improve it. Thank you for your time and I really hope that there is something I can do to help Drifter’s place!
Sincerely,
Sammy Woolard
Hi,
I tried to send you an email. I am in desperate need of some help. I am getting a dog to foster for the weekend to give her more time than being euthanized. She is pregnant and scared. I am only a college student wanting to help, but I do not have the money or facilities(renting) to keep her to have the puppies.
Please email me if you can help or know someone who can, i can give you more details then.
Thank you!!
Sincerely,
Jordan
